Initially, back in 2017 buying Bitcoin was an absolute f***ing pain in the ass for me. Like, a real physical and emotional painful experience. I just couldn't get hold of it. In late 2017 when the price was skyrocketing I was trying hard to buy it, in a safe and secure way. I felt like everyone was getting richer and I was missing out. I spent ages looking for somewhere to buy it that didn't want me to upload my passport, or say hello in front of a camera - 'bad actor this and bad actor that'. I eventually realised that my passport was required and I had to take at least a selfie (jeez). When I finally got close, it turned out my bank would not allow payments for crypto. Scared institutions anyone? However Bitcoin tanked and, well, it wasn't such a bad story after all. I didn't BTC at $24k a coin.
Finally I came across 'Bittylicious'. A silly, almost scammy name but easy to use. Anyway, I like this website and use it when I have fiat to spare. I'm a fan. It's no stress and no shit and they actually have good customer service too. The range of coins are pretty short, but who buys anything other than Bitcoin and Ethereum anyway? (lots of people I am sure). The rates are fairly decent too, I thought they were better than Coinbase anyway.
