A mentally tiring 24 hours
It's been a mentally tiring 24 hours for me and a physically tiring one for many people in Hong Kong. This place I used to call home has once again made the global headlines today (Monday) when the authorities shutdown the airport.
Thousands of people held a sit in at the airport today in protest of the police brutality at many places across Hong Kong on Sunday 11th August.
The brutal events on Sunday has angered more and more citizens leading to the sit in protest at the airport today. In fact, there's been a sit in protest at the airport from Friday to Sunday, this went peacefully, and today's was no different so it is unsure why the authorities decided they needed to shut down the airport causing inconvenience to so many people.
The demands of the people are simple.
Gosh, the situation is getting more and more dire :( I am afraid of what will come next....
I've been paying attention to this closely and it's been giving me stress :(
