Pets and their overly attention seeking gimmicks!

Having pets in the family is beautiful, they become part of a family and you can't neglect them for too long. They are investment that needed checking on(haha), cats and dogs do this mostly.
You would think this cute puppy is stucked but then you pick it up and give some cuddle and stroking, and viola: they got the attention needed. That's a cue for most cats and dogs(with few other pets), they are super good at getting your attentions if they feel like tricking you into it.
Some humans do it too(haha), have seen people go to any length for attention, I even saw one guy broke his leg while he tries to impress and get noticed. You think that puppy's head is stuck, but if you look closely you would see its choking its self in a corner, of course it always works; you must rush to that corner and pick him up!
Aside from Cats and Dogs, only two animals seek much attention like this; Parrots and Hedgehogs! Its ridiculous if you hear a babylike cry in the dead of the night when you don't have a baby in the house, that's what Hedgehogs do best. But aside attention seeking, the eerie shrieking of Hedgehogs could also mean danger, probably something bit it or its choking on something. Dogs also howls endlessly when they need you to play with them, especially adults. Cats do same thing like Hedgehogs, they cry like babies sometimes!
