Still night life ~ Steem Photo 52 Challenge Contest

Hi, guys!

It has been a long time since my last participation in any photo contest, except Monomad. I saw this one just recently for the first time. Today I give myself a try :)

So, this is my entry to Steem Photo 52 Challenge Contest, 2020 Edition

This contest is an extension of a Photo 52 project, in which a person takes one photo every week based on a pre-defined weekly theme.

And this weeks theme is ... Photographers Choice!

I believe there is no person here who does not know this landmark. Yes, it is Brandenburg Gate, Berlin. It replaced old city gate, a part of a city wall. Gate was created on the model of the main entrance (called Propylaea) of the Athenian Acropolis. Side note: the city itself was very small on those days.

If you ask me what do I like most of all in Berlin, my answer is its terrific architecture. You would not find anything too unusual, like Gaudí's buildings, but for me Berlin has its own restrained style and chic.

It's a very lovely entry. Your skills in photography is great. You should try participating in different photography contests more often @zirochka! There are wide range of contests that you may be interested in. I have read a blog of @pennsif that lists the variety of contests here on Steem. Maybe you can give it a look. Here's the link:

I'm glad you decided to join the contest, and with a great photo, too! I love old Roman architecture. It definitely has character to it.
