Norwegian landscapes - Moods from the top

Hi Friends!

Working with really hard light is a great opportunity to master Your photographic skills. Both on the field and by Your computer screen.

I remember the times when I didn't understand the role and importance of Histogram. Now, I could not imagine working on the shot without it.

Why it is so important? Because, on the field, it is the only way to check if Your shot is well exposed or not, live view or preview is not always the best way to check Your composition settings, if its too bright outside, most of Your shots will be simply too dark in Your opinion but in fact, they are very well exposed if You check the histogram.

It is long matter to explain... Trust me - if You are not using Histogram - You should start! There is nothing worse than burning the shots on field and coming back home with nothing ;).

On the shot - Light conditions seen from the top of Jervfjellet mountain, middle Norway.
Springtime hike, May 2020.
