Qurator's Monday Missions Contest - Old Stuff
(Edited)
The vintage wagon wheel in my photographs is a family heirloom that dates back to the late-1920s to early-1930s.
Once upon a time, it was one of a group of four similar wheels that were on a working wagon used to grow and harvest crops, which in turn provided income for the family. The wagon wheel originally belonged to my husband's late grandfather who owned a farm and land in Oklahoma.
Please click to listen to the song I chose to play along with my post
"So rock me momma like a wagon wheel; Rock me momma any way you feel. Hey, momma rock me! Rock me momma like the wind and the rain, Rock me momma like a south bound train. Hey, momma rock me!"
This is my entry to the Monday Missions Contest hosted by the incredible @qurator

Also tagging the awesome @old-guy-photos and host of the #sepiasaturday tag, as the antique wheel images have a natural sepia tone to them

Thanks for reblogging my post! @pixresteemer💫
I like your wagon wheel. Very cool!
Oh the Darius version is ok. However if you are going to tag the Old Guy you got to have the Old Crows! I am a big fan and Ketch wrote the song with Dylan. So it is my duty as a sworn fan of Old Crow Medicine Show to share the OCMS version :)
😁
Beautiful photographs my friend...
