Lazy Sunday

Good afternoon from me in England!
It's a bright warmish day here in Derbyshire so we've been over the park with the kids and I've also been sorting out some of my plants for overwintering.

I've also been cultivating/propagating some strawberry runners from the mother plant.
We now have over 30 baby plants for next year, which will happily sleep over the winter in the polytunnel. All you have to remember is to keep the roots moist and not wet.

It's also that time of year when I bring some of the more delicate plants and trees inside for winter.
My Chinese Elm Bonsai lives on the kitchen windowsill until spring.

I grow lots of Avocado plants from the pit as they make really attractive house plants. They need bringing inside over winter
