A huge shit show
Today is election day in the US and it seems to be one of the most important elections we have had. Too bad both Trump and Biden are going to be bad for us.
These are times when I hate living in the US. "We the People" truly have no voice when it comes to choosing who is going to lead our country. Sure we can vote for one of the two choices that those running our country allow us to choose from, but in the end, it is us that always lose as those in power win.
The goal of our government has been to divide its people and that is why the whole two party system is a crock of shit. I can't wait to move out of the US and just travel the world and not be attached to the dumb shit that is going on here. The world is an amazing place full of amazing people.

I've spent more of my life helping the democratic party than any other. And I'm going to never help democrats again. This is the most disgusted I've ever been with these politicians.
Biden and obama deserve prison. Or a noose. Firing squad is cool.too I'd accept that.

I am hoping that Biden doesnt win, but not looking forward to four more years of Trump. I think there will be riots all over the country because of this election. At least we will can look forward to some epic memes that come out of this.

How about the rise of the libertarian party!!!! Yeah some.huge changes. And now you can have hard drugs legally in Oregon coke meth and heroin are all good. And so is pcp and others!
Well hopefully all those people that think that doing those hard drugs can get clean with the new system they are trying. Nothing good comes with those drugs.
ENGAGEtokens.It's just the same shit show here in the Netherlands. Don't make the mistake of thinking that the people here really have a voice. Far from it. We get to vote, but in this multi-party system that we have here, politicians can even refuse to form a cabinet with the elected party to rule. And that has happened before. People had chosen one person and eventually another who was NOT elected became prime minister because they refused to cooperate with each other. As a result of which the chosen man did not end up in the cabinet but in the opposition. In addition, none of them keep their word ... and the population always pays a great price. The Netherlands is no longer the country where things are going well. Yes for the outside world and according to the media of course ... but the reality is really different.
Yep. Most of the government systems are only in it for themselves and dont care about the people.

ENGAGEtokens.I've lived outside the USA for over 10 years and don't vote in politics, but definitely vote with my dollar, how and where I spend it especially. I can't believe how close things are, I guess we really haven't learned much from Trump's 4 years in office.
I think we are a stubborn and uneducated people. I've lived in Albania, Cambodia and Suriname my 10 years abroad, and 90% of the people from my hillbilly hometown couldn't even name the correct continent that corresponds with each country. We need better education, and if we don't get it, we will never be able to make good choices.
Its shockingly affordable to travelive too. My wife and I keep contemplating wether or not we should stay. After living abroad for two years, in addition to what touve mentioned here, it's expensive as shit to live here!

We met and befriended many people from different cultures during our spree. Trying to list them all would be lengthy--Russia, Bulgaria, Sweden, Brits, a lot more.. too lengthy.
Man.. I had to attempt to explain our healthless care system to each of them. Even developing and third world country folk, it's a tough one to explain:
"Monthly fees? Group coverage, private? Co-pay, what's a co-pay? And you have to pay for prescribed medication too?!"
Check this out @derangedvisions, can't make this shit up. The same medication my wife received in Costa Rica, Panama, State of Palestine, Italy, and England for free freety free as in they even reimbursed her train fair was prescribed to her here about two weeks ago now (she has pancreatitis).
The same 60 pills dude, 2 a day.. free everywhere else, 60, 6-0.... $1,500! <- that's not a typo. I'm still wiping shit off myself.
Ya it sucks here. When I was in Thailand last year, we saw a Dr, got a prescription written and filled it, all for $1.50 or so. That would be close to $200 in bills and stuff here. It is ridiculous.

I watch the elections in your country from across the ocean. I compare news from TV and the Internet. The general impression is that troubled times are brewing. Riots are possible regardless of who wins. But Biden seems to me a more creepy monster.
