Are we back yet?
A bit of a test post to see if things are back to functionality.
Suzi is not happy about this HF, and I can't say I am. The changes and explanations behind them do not convince me that the 50-50 is a good change.
How do you guys like it so far?
Hopefully things will sort out fast and adjust. This is what I saw just a few mins ago in Steemwold.

I think the way to the future is that we all need to concentrate more on getting paid via Tokens and soon from SMTs. Things have changed around here and while the changes will be good for Steem, we need to figure out how to make Tribes and Tokens work for us!
I think you are right. I think the regular users earnings will drop overall. The higher curation rewards, it will not be able to replace the post earning of a person that has less SP in the account. Probably even Dolphins will not be able to even up the earnings.
Doubt the voting patters of most whales will change.

I set up a couple alt accounts and delegated lifestyle, pal and CCC Tokens to them so that I can do more token voting. And I am stackin ESTM by using eSteem and looking forward to SMTs. The future looks pretty exciting!
I am glad you are excited.... after today's HF I am not excited at all.
I kept most tokens on my account sine I vote the posts that use the tags anyway, so the VP is used. I only delegated Leo to a separate account since I don't post in that topic.
Sounds like you are in a good position to make money off you Tokens! I truly think the changes made today will prove to be exciting for the future of the blockchain. Time will tell!

Glad to see it back luckily for me I was busy at work today and missed most of the downtime
It wasn't very long anyway so it is not a biggie.
It is the change itself that leaves me very demotivated...
I have to admit i am skeptical about the logic behind these changes but am waiting to see how it works out, but it looks like our returns and hence how much Steem we build up is going to be greatly reduced
Yeah. Things seem to be working again.
I'm not too happy about the 50/50 split either. And that "convergent linear" curve isn't going to be that good for those of us whose posts pay under 20 Steem. The potential payout on my Caturday post dropped by $0.35 after the HF21.
I try to vote for comments too because I like to encourage engagement, but a single vote on a comment is only worth about half of what it was before. I upvoted @melinda010100's comment with a value of 0.026, and the payout only shows 0.014. I don't like that. That's why I'm a big fan of the @dustbunny. He's going to be needed now more than ever if we want to reward people for commenting on our posts.
We all should be concentrating on Tribes and Tokens! That is New Steem.

My rewards dropped too after the HF21 was implemented. Hope it is only some glitch. Otherwise it will be 50% of already reduced rewards...

Nope. Not a glitch. The rewards have been adjusted to reflect the payout under the new rewards curve. So any post that hasn't paid out yet will be affected by the new reward curve. If it's under 20 Steem, it will be reduced. These changes are not good for the little guy.

How in a world that is supposed to help plankton and minnows??
If the plan was to reduce the bots upvotes that will have the opposite effect. People will use bot to reach the 20 Steem payout and earn even more...
I really don't get their logic.
It's going to make it very hard. It's also going to make it harder to vote for comments. So I think a lot of people will stop voting on comments since it's hard to vote it high enough to pass the dust threshold. For example, I voted your comment with a .05 value, and if you look at the payout, it only says .025. So it's only half. That stinks!
I hardly vote comments, but yea... it sucks, complicates stuff and why is it different the the upvote value?
So disappointed with the changes I feel like crying now :(
I think we'll have to invest more in tribes and tokens. I've been powering up more of my tokens. I think that's where the money is going to be for the little guys. Most of my posts only got a few cents.
I'm going to concentrate on tokens that have to do with photography since that's what I'm most interested in on here.
In this case... what do we need Steemit for? And if we don't really need it, why the "improving" HF?

I haven’t seen much difference except the rewards will be different. My voting scale isn’t working on Steemit but is on Busy after the HF. Not that it matters much as I need to build up my voting power.
Yes, the rewards will be different - smaller. And I already see it on my post payouts I received. I dropped quite a bit.
