Last September I trekked out to Riga, Latvia for the Baltic Honeybadger 2019 Bitcoin conference. It is one of the premier "bitcoin-only" annual events in the world. Bitcoiners from all around the globe gather to discuss the takeover of Earth's traditional monetary system. On the way home I had a layover in Oslo, Norway.

Norway has a really great public transportation system, which includes a high speed rail that leads from Oslo Airport to the city center. I had enough time to take the train to the city to see what Oslo is all about. I stopped to grab lunch and ate some Smoked Whale Meat at Den Glad Gris. It was definitely interesting. I took this photo of the streets of Oslo on my way back to the station. The Oslo Cathedral is seen on the right side of the frame. On the left is a yellow painted restaurant with a bike sitting out front. Overall it was a nice afternoon in Norway.
