They boulders in that brook are still green, but the green is different.

In the spring, when I first came to this little stream, everything was green and fused and the moss on the rocks was thick and firm. Now, in the Autumn, a little less water is flowing, the high grass has mostly gone and the moss is partly only a thin layer.

Also, the colors have changed a bit and now it is rather a dull green with some yellowish, orange and dark spots, but this little stream with the equally small waterfalls is still a beautiful sight.

Im Frühjahr, als ich zum ersten Mal an diesem kleinen Bach gewesen bin, war alles grün und verwachsen und das Moos auf den Felsen war dick und fest. Jetzt, im Herbst, fließt etwas weniger Wasser, das Gras ist zurückgegangen und das Moos zum Teil nur eine dünne Schicht.

Auch die Farben haben sich etwas geändert und jetzt ist es eher ein mattes Grün mit stellenweise gelblichen, orangen und dunkleren Flecken, aber trotzdem ist dieser kleine Bach mit den ebenso kleinen Wasserfällen immer noch ein wunderschöner Anblick.

Thank you so much, Melinda, it is really a beautiful place which I have found. You can be there, relax and listen to the waterfalls and you may be sure, that no tourist will find that little brook in the woods 🙂

Thank you so much JJ - I like it too, because the colors are somehow autumnal.

I have just come home from a hike on a mountain, which didn't like me, I believe. The weather was quite nice and changed a few minutes after I reached the peak. I could quickly take a few photos of the sunrise and the landscape, but then thick and wet fog was blown up by a very cold wind and I couldn't see much anymore. The way down was long and dangerous, because the rocks got wet and sometimes icy ... but I am home now, and if any of the photos are good I will make a short post tonight or tomorrow.

Yes, my next mountain will definitely be next year, apart from one, which I want to climb this weekend, if the weather is good. But that's an easy one compared to today's mountain ;)

Ohh yes after yesterdays hike resting your legs is a good idea, I was at the emmission test center at 7 when they open, but apparently its a state law they can only do the test during state hours so I have to go back at 8

I just wrote in a reply that we have very nice weather, but I am also staying inside - I have no car, because today I have had an appointment at the garage. There's something to repair at the injection system and I hope I will get it back til tomorrow.

Usually our friend makes all repairs and services at my Peugeot, but some things are kind of Peugeot-special, and since he is a VW mechanics he does not have the right tools. This new garage is cool and the people there too :)

Yes, this little brook has some small waterfalls like this one and most of the boulders are mossy overgrown. I like that brook very much, and I haven't seen anybody else there, whenever I was there 😉

Even with the impending Autumn, the moss has a distinctly soft look - right down to the wonderful edit on the water, how it is also very soft looking.

I have been there!!! Of course, my family tried to visit in June 1991 and were turned away. My cousins lived in Croatia and Bratislava, on my mother's side. She was actually French, but, that's a long story and the relations are mostly through marriage. :)

I have not been as a visitor, only a tourist, which is truly a different experience. Yes!

I like to photograph waterfalls with a lower shutterspeed, but not so slow, that you cannot see the water flow anymore.
