Today is the second part of this year's first snow last Saturday.

Das ist heute der zweite Teil des ersten heurigen Schnees vom letzten Samstag.

When I arrived at the reservoir last Saturday, the first thing I wanted to do was to take a picture of the snow-covered path. While I was taking the photo, I saw a glow in the corner of my eye - a few rays of sun had come through the thick clouds and made the trees on the hill glow golden.

Als ich am letzten Samstag am Stausee angekommen bin, habe ich netürlich als Allererstes den verschneiten Weg fotografieren wollen. Während ich die Aufnahme machte, sah ich im Augenwinkel einen Schein - auf dem Hügel waren ein paar Sonnenstrahlen durch die dichten Wolken durchgekommen und ließen die Bäume golden leuchten.

While I quickly took the planned photo and then pointed the camera at the hill, the spectacle was almost over again, but you can still see a bit of the golden glow of the morning sun.

Während ich schnell das geplante Foto gemacht habe und dann die Kamera auf den Hügel ausrichtete, war das Schauspiel auch schon wieder fast vorbei gewesen, aber ein bisschen kann man den goldenen Schein der Morgensonne noch erkennen.

A little later, the clouds loosened up a bit and released a pale blue sky.

Wenig später lockerten die Wolken dann doch noch ein bisschen auf und gaben einen blassblauen Himmel frei.

The snow is already melting again, because it's too warm, but hopefully it will snow again in the next weeks :)

Das letzte Foto mit der Spiegelung ist ja wohl ein echter Kracher. Solche Bilder sind bei uns hier nicht möglich. Es ist Jahre her, dass es richtig geschneit hat.

Da haben die Wolken sich ein bisschen verzogen und den Himmel gezeigt. Leider war die Sonne schon etwas zu hoch, sonst wären die Farben noch besser gewesen :)
Ich danke dir, dass dir das Foto gefällt - das war der erste Schnee heuer, und der schmilzt wegen des Föhns schon wieder weg.
In den letzten Jahren hat sich der Winter bzw der Schnee immer verspätet und kommt bei uns erst im Jänner oder später. Dafür kann es aber auch sein, dass es Ende April/Anfang Mai noch schneit ;)

same here -- there are only rain and pools instead of snow everywhere... and the mud. I used my !DERANGED bike yesterday again.

Fortunately it is not raining here, but it is quite warm - no ice on the car windows, that's one good thing ;)
My bike has been standing in the cellar for a few years and it will stay there for another few years, because I am so !DERANGED lazy, but not because of !BEER 😉

Yes, I have been the first one on this path that morning, but there are not many people walking anyway. On each side of the Reservoir there are paths - 3 of them are well visited and this one not. The reason is, that it's not long enough and ends in an overgrown forest path. But this is what I like most - that overgrown path is the best part :)))

Sometimes I meet a fisherman and some other people, but if I have met 10 people on this path the whole year, then I am lying, because I met less ;)

ME liking walks on my own and away from crowds to me that sounds a great place to go :)

It is very warm here at the moment, at least too warm for the snow, which is already melting.

Sie mögen vertikale Panoramen. Das ist etwas ungewöhnlich. Für Landschaften ist die horizontale Fotografie vertrauter. Ich mag dein Ergebnis. Das ist Neuheit.

Hin und wieder gefällt es mir, ein vertikales Panorama zu machen - so etwas sieht man nicht sehr oft, wie du richtig sagst, und es schaut oft besser und interessanter aus, als wenn man ein einzelnes Foto macht. Aber es stimmt schon, in der Landschaftsfotografie sieht man fast immer nur horizontale Panoramafotos.

Beautiful walk among snow! Oh! I love to see that everything covering with snow! The reflection on the water is magnificent, especially the sunlight in the last photo. Great capture! ;)

I love to walk in the snow, but unfortunately all the snow is already gone, because the weather has become much warmer than usual and it is raining a lot instead of snowing - what a weird Winter is this 😢
