Architectural Photography: identify this church and win upvote

Hi there my Steemian friends and followers!

I was going to introduce you to another interesting piece of architecture that I have happened to visit during my travels but to my unpleasant surprise and in spite of some hard googling, I was not able to find out the name of the landmark that I wanted to show you today :D :/

I almost gave up on it and moved to some other building but then I figured it could actually make for some nice guessing challenge :) Let me now show you the photo of the concerned building.

Here are some hints. I took this image in Malta, probably in spring 2014. The church looks very similar to the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, one of the most iconic churches of the country, but after a closer inspection, I found out it is actually not this church.

The first person to correctly identify this building in the comment section below will get a huge shout-out in the edited version of the post and my full upvote on his or her entry :)

The building featured above is really the Parish Church of St. Sebastian in Qoormi, Malta. My pleasure to upvote your comment with the correct answer @deepresearch :)

This is most probably The parish church of St Sebastian in Qormi, Malta.

I had the same issue with founding a building the past summer but don't figure out its name even though I'm sure it has a great story behind :)

Haha you might also want to try to do it like this and let someone else identify the building for you in a challenge :D
