Weird Photography Using Fish-eye Lens

(Edited)

Hey Guys, Happy Weekend ...

Today was a rough day for me but in the end, all is good. Well, you must be thinking about the title and wanted to check what is this all about. A few weeks back, my dad gave me a portable fish-eye lens for my smartphone, which is small and easy to carry. It's not a very good quality lens but as a beginner, I wanted to learn more about it.

My dad bought it from Malaysia especially to capture Petronas Twin-Tower picture and after that, he never used that. So, I told him to give me so that I can do some experiments.

Let's see how the experiment went...

I personally not very fan of fish-eye lens or capture because I think this is for professional photographers and really hard to understand. Also, in my opinion, the outcome of the fish-eye lens picture is really confusing and unpleasant to look at. It's totally my personal opinion because I like clear, simple vertical or horizontal pictures without any manipulation.

I am trying this portable fish-eye lens for the first time and I know there are mistakes and failures according to the photography. In fact, some pictures are not even clear and blurred, a complete disaster. I personally feel these two pictures are a failure or maybe I did something wrong or don't know how to use this lens.

These two pictures turned a little bit better and I edited them as well. Fall is the perfect season for photography and doing an experiment, to be honest. I really love these burning red leaves and vibrant green wild plants. These two pictures really turned out well from my opinion.

Look at these vibrant colors leaves, I am sure you already noticed that. I worked on color saturation and sharpness to give depth in these pictures. So that it will be pleasant to look at.

I have also shot a video about this to show you guys how much I have struggled to deal with this portable lens. Again I am saying this is my first time and I tried to see the outcome results. Failure or success don't know still because this is just my first day. Watch my video for more details and information if needed...

I will share more captures with you soon. I have used my Samsung Galaxy s6 edge to capture these pictures...
