Global warming or Climate change - is it real?

Hello

First of all I do lots of cycling even though I live in a polluted city, so I care about my environment and earth.

Many misunderstand the question. When someone questions global warming, the question is not if the earth temperature is rising or not, the question is about the global warming theory (and yes, it's a theory, just wait a moment and I'll tell you)

This is known fact that earth temperature is rising, but this is not called global warming. You can read the full theory here. No one denies the fact that earth is warming, the question is about the assumptions by this theory and how accurate the models used in this theory are.

In short, global warming theory tells us that earth is warming and CO2 is to blame. The focus is on CO2, and waht causes CO2? fossil fuels. And that makes it suspicious. What about all the other pollution we have put in the air and water? What about all the other problem we caused for the earth?

When the focus is on the most important source of energy, probably there is many more factors in work other than some people caring about earth. Definitely it's not just Greta Thunberg and all the people following her.

There are more signs that makes the whole movement more suspicious, like the zero-emission boat that Greta used to get to U.S.

She used that boat instead of taking a flight, because jets produce much CO2, but later it turned out that two of the boat's crew, flew to U.S. to take the boat back. and the boat itself is an expensive race boat, filled with modern technology. Making of this boat has produced so much pollution for sure.

I think the most effective and simple way to change the world for better is to use less, eat less, buy less, etc. In U.S. more than 30% of people are obese (BMI>30) which I interpret as "30% of people dying because they had much more than they needed."

Many of us are trapped in a negative feedback loop. We use more to get more but as more people do this, the costs go higher and the rewards lower, so we need to use more. Why we bought a car in the first place? to get to work faster? is it still effective in this traffic? Why did we start working? to get a car?

Where are we going?

By the timing I guess thevote upvoted me on ocdb vote trail.
I don't know why bdvoter upvoted me with ~2.4 before ocdb, but an upvote from ocdb as a curator account is not a bad thing I guess. Though I think that's also related to ocdb.

Anyway, I didn't pay or ask for anything, I don't know what to do.

Probably for getting more reward of the owners post and also maybe some other posts that get high value upvotes. I don't know...

bdvoter is a bidbot, to the best of my knowledge it doesn't work for free. I don't care who paid for the up vote, I reserve the right to not participate in up voting a post when that occurs. Edit: in the mean time I delivered 0.15 in up vote on your comments.
