Colours in food

These are the cakes and sweets from the chain stores Chateraise in Singapore. The designs of the cakes are very colourful and certainly aims to catch the eyes of the discerning consumers these days. There is also another store here called Sinpopo and their cakes are even more up market. In particular, their Black Forest cake caught my eyes.

I didn’t manage to grab a photography but it will be project for another time.

And I tried baking my own shortbread. What is the result ?? You ask me ? I can only share some photos below :
