What's up beautiful people!???

How's it going? :)
In this post, I am going to share some photos I took when my family and I went to my father's hometown. Actually, this is one of my favorite places because it was where I spent most of my time with my cousins in my father's side. When we were young, this place is our favorite to go place every summer.

As I show you the pictures, I'm going to do some reminiscing as well. That way, I could share to you a piece of my self, especially my childhood days. I hope you enjoy it!

From the hotel where we were staying, we went to Center Mall on foot. It was around six in the morning that time. We enjoy going around the place on foot because the air is so fresh, there aren't a lot of cars or any vehicles and the whole place is so clean. It's always a pleasure to wake up early to enjoy walking around. Yes, we used to do this too... morning and afternoon in the past. :)

When we see these trees, it means we're almost there. Actually, this place where the trees are growing used to be a train track. I haven't seen the train myself, but when I was young the track was still very visible. And can you see those small yellow one-storey building behind on the right side? There used to be a "computer cafe" back then. But since there wasn't online games back then, we used to play Nintendo or Playstation games. haha There was also a billiard place where I and my other cousins used to go to. These days, there's only offices and some convenience stores there.

The playground of my childhood! <3 We used to play here a lot. It didn't change... well, there are some small (maybe) shops in front where the seesaw used to be. But this whole structure... ahh!!! So nostalgic! <3

In the picture before the playground, there are some kiosks. At night or late afternoon, they're open so we can buy some snacks and some people also drink there late at night.

The vast soccer fields! Soccer wasn't that popular in my country, but it has always been very popular in my father's hometown. Every summer, schools in the city compete against each other. My cousins used to join and I was always so busy cheering for them. It was so fun watching them play. I don't play soccer, but I did enjoy kicking and passing the ball with them.

In the past, these restaurants used to be the popular places to dine out. However, these days, there are a lot of other restaurants to eat out. There are some fast food chains now, too. In the past, there wasn't any fast food restaurants. It's slowly changing, but I really hope they get to keep these fresh and natural places.

When I was around high school, these basketball courts were constructed. As I've said, I don't play soccer, but I sure play basketball! I enjoyed playing here with my cousins and uncles as well. My father used to play with us, too. When we go for a walk or jog in the morning, we sometimes drop by this place to play basketball.

The horse and the pine trees! It really feelings refreshing seeing this site. We're already at the other side of Center Mall. In front of this place, there are some tennis courts as well. I believer they're quite new as I don't remember them being there. Well, maybe they were but not that developed yet.

After walking around, we decided to go to "Kurvada Cafe" for breakfast.

On our way to the outdoor cafe, we saw this moving store. It's quite interesting to see it in the morning as we usually see these in the afternoon when more people go to Center Mall to play and hangout. Also, as you can see in the last picture, there are a lot of sugar cane. This city is known for its production. It's always nice to see the vast sugar cane fields as well.

And yep, that's it for this post. I used my Nokia 5 phone to take these photos and enhanced them using PhotoScape desktop app. I hope that phone of mine gets fixed... It has been fun taking pictures with it, too.

Thank you so much for checking this post! See you again! (^_^)/
