I will be purchasing the locking option which has upside and downside and may not be for you.

On the positive side we achieve maximum security and safer from excess dust.

On the negative side I pay $350 more & must ventilate to keep the temperature optimal.

If you have a cold climate an open rack and no air-conditioning might work for you, saving alot.

I will be purchasing this unit for the list we are building today.

The upside is this unit will work in either server rack and only needed in non air-conditioned situations.

The downside is it costs an additional $720 and is for smaller set-ups like we are building.

Server

First look is at a refurbished unit that is affordable and almost immediately rentable as well as some servers we will drool over and do more research on in future updates.
