#piratesunday Meaningful Coin

Good Day all you buccaneers of the waters of the Steemverse!! This is Captain D on the deck of the Silver Wing and I want to welcome you to #piratesunday!! Today I want to show you a beautiful piece of silver that returns me back to when I was a child. If you have followed me for a while then you may have seen my post about “the making of a treasure hunter!” During my youth my family often vacationed in an area of the outer banks where Edward Teach (Black Beard) once lived and haunted (possibly literally). Those years made a huge effect on my and really shaped my love of pirates. In honor of those years and the love of treasure I gained from it I want to show off the first in a new series. The 2019 Tuvalu 1 oz Silver Black Flag (Queen Anne's Revenge) which was Black Beards flag ship. All information and images are from Apmex.

I really like the design of this coin with the Queens Anne’s Revenge looking like it is sailing away from a conflict with the signature Jolly Roger. A great touch is the skulls in the clouds of the background and the details like that are what make it really spectacular. What do you guys think? Are you buying these or are they too costly? A beautiful coin, so appropriate for pirate Sunday. Cost is a concern for me... but who knows, I might end up getting the coin. But may yet be able to fight the temptation of buying this high premium coin.
