Masked faces

Laughing and joking
they walked ahead
little did they know
where they would be led
the scenes seemed to change
the people looked strange
flying trains and masked faces
sticky liquids that were sprayed
they seemed to suffocate
they looked around scared
and walked backward
slipped back into their 'place'
hugging each other
they ran to their house
and stopped complaining ever again
about their homestead
