Poetry: Hime-sama
HIME-SAMA
The tiniest
With big black round eyes.
The prettiest
That captures everyone’s heart.
The name befits in you.
With your pretty dancing curls,
You shine in the evening dew;
Like a star in the night.
Sleeping with me
Is what you like.
And I’m going to miss it--
Every night.
You were saved once,
But can’t be done twice.
Shattered, I must say!
And tears keep flowing for days.
Such an angel
I named this sweet angel, Hime. Hime is a Japanese word for Princess. She is a pretty and tiny pup that made me think of her as an elegant princess if she was a human.
As I've said, Hime is tiny but had long and wavy hair. When the weather was hot, she would always go to the bathroom and bath herself. The next thing we knew, the floor was already wet and slippery. I've always wanted to cut her hair but my Mom and Grandma don't want to. They loved her and her hair so much.
Hime loved to sleep beside me. I have asthma and allergic rhinitis that triggered because of her furs but, I still allowed her to sleep with me. When we arrived at home, she wanted us to greet her first. Since there were four of them, Hime would jump straight to our ass. Like she would jump and shoot her snout into our ass. Our visitors were a victim also by this funny act of Hime. We ended up laughing because of her.
Months after Hawk died, Hime died too. The same as Hawk, she died while I was away. It was already 9:30 PM and I was still in the office when I received the bad news. I was crying silently while I was working and preparing for tomorrow's training. It was so hard to suppress my cry.
My family waited for me before they wrapped Hime. When I arrived, I was crying so loud even if it was already late in the evening. I hugged her for the last time. She was saved from Parvo, but not in Distemper.
That snout!
That long wavy furs!
Poker face but still a pretty one!
Be a kind hooman to all our furry friends.
Feed a stray when you can.
If you can't, atleast don't hurt them!
