The Historic speech

Recently the United Nations conference was held in New York, an annual conference of real significance fir developing countries to put their ppints infront of the world. Pakistan is also among those countries which needed this oppurtunity for a cause, to tell the world about the atrocity for the Kashmiri people. They have been curfewd withing their homes for almost 60 days, imagine 60 days without internet, phone or proper food these are the basic needs of a society which they are not provided.

But first I'll talk about Greta the little who is desperately trying to raise the climate issue, well Pakistan is a direct affectee of the global warming, the recent rise in temperature has caused severe heat wave specially in Karachi where I live. I have seen people being unconscious or even died because of heat strokes so trust me we have to get our act togetwand do something to save the planet. I support Greta in her cause.

Now for the main part, our whole nation was anxiously anticipating Prime minister Imran Khan's speech. Well he came and in my view gave the best speech any leader could. Although it was 50 minutes long, it catered to 4 main points Money laundering from corrupt leaders of the developing world into developed countries, he emphasized to the developed countries to help us developing countries catch these criminals who call themselves politicians. Secondly he also stated the dangers of global warming and we must work in solving this major problem.

His third point was addressing the issue of Islamophobia a growing misunderstanding of the weatern world for the Muslim community he said there is no radical Islam there is only one Islam which spreads the message of goodness and peace just like any other religion of the world. Therr are individuals who are radicalized but nothing like radical islam. In the last 20 minutes he just talked about the Kashmiri people and pleaded to the world to do something to stop this injustice against 8 million people. He stated imagine only 8 thousand Europeans, or jews being locked up under heavy army control would the Worlds reaction be the same as it is right now.

His speech really made each Pakistani proud and he did justice to the Kashmiris in my view. If you still haven't heard his speech please do so you won't regret it.
