Ulog 166: Many Uses For Castile Soap
And one of those little tasks is to start using this Castile soap for its various uses around the home.
Some Of The Uses I Found I Want To Use Castile Soap For
- Dish washing
- Laundry (delicate garments- I'll be grating up the bar soap for this one)
- As an all-purpose cleaner
- Dog shampoo (our adult lab has very sensitive skin to other products)
- As the cleaning agent in my homemade cleaning wipes
- In bathroom to freshen up shower stall build up (as well as the toilet- we have hard water here)
- For the dishwasher
- I'll be using the liquid Castile soap when making new batches of my own homemade soap
I found a recipe on Dr Axe's website:
To create your own dishwasher soap, mix 8 ounces of Castile liquid soap with 1 cup of water, 3 teaspoons of lemon juice and 10 drops of lemon essential oil and shake gently

I have to be really careful with soap, especially the scented kind as I'm allergic to it
Love using castile soap @goldendawne :) It's definitely my go-to cleanser, not harsh on the skin during those dry winter months. I think you'll be pleased!

This is interesting! I have sensitive skin, it's been really hard to find the right one...
Another castle soap fan! I haven’t tried it in the dishwasher - yet!
