After reading your article yesterday I went to check how I was getting on with my Presearch earnings only to discover I wasn't getting any. 😢

A couple of months back I'd read a post here that you could use Presearch with Brave and so set it up. However, I set presearch as my preferred search engine by hand (as I'd read elsewhere) and that seems to have mucked it up.

It took me ages to work out what the problem was but when I started afresh and touched nothing I got DSearch coming up automatically. So now I'm up and running again.

All my coins from pre Brave days are still there too so that's a nice bonus. 😊

That's tough indeed, I haven't really used the plugin for Brave only because I'm afraid of that situation where it's not working lol so I use their launch page instead. Keep on earning those tokens!

You can immediately see if it works by checking the search result page, which should be Dsearch.com and by either refreshing it or going to Presearch.org to check if your PRE has grown since your last search. If it does, you have set it up right and shouldn't worry anymore. I never had any problems with it.

Yeah true, one of these days I'll do it. I am trying to set my wife up with using it instead of the evil Gulag, so I need to make it as easy as possible for her to use it lol

The moral of the story is just use the extension and don't change your settings in Brave. I think the instructions I followed at first must have been old ones. It's pretty simple nowadays. 😊

Sorry to read that you missed out on your PRE rewards because of some user error. Have you now tried to browser extension? Your search results will show the DSearch logo on the top left and you can see your PRE rewards on the top right. Refresh the page after a search to see how PRE increase. If it does, you have done everything correct.

It's only the tokens from the last few weeks that I didn't get because, unbeknown to me, I was still searching with Google. But it's all sorted now. 😁
