Those who follow me here on Hive might be used to see my multi language content separated in two posts (one only in Portuguese - intended for those who don't understand English - and the other only in English - intended for the ones who don't understand Portuguese). This is how I've been posting since 2011 in my personal blog (outside of Hive) which has separate sections for each language. However, I found out that here on Hive, making separate posts for each language is considered as spamming.

I haven't been posting much since 2019. Only a post once in a while, and a comment here and there, usually to reply to someone who commented on my posts. At one of these times I dropped by to comment, I noticed that a bot called Spaminator gave a 0.25% downvote on my comment. Shortly after I made another comment, the bot came again with another downvote. I didn't understand the reason. My comments were genuine and well written, and it made no sense that someone could view them as spam and put me in a blacklist. But whenever I posted any comment, there came the bot to give another downvote. I had been unable to find out who was behind the bot and who to ask about it, so, for some months, I just ignored the downvotes.

Only this week I came across this post by @vempromundo who had been having a similar problem, and this other post with instructions on how to try to solve the problem at the Hivewatchers discord channel. I went there, and it turned out that the reason for the downvotes actually had nothing to do with my comments at all, but with my posts! I was told that I ended up in their blacklist because of the two language versions of the same post, and that this is considered as farming rewards through recycled posts. To anyone else writing in more than one language in separate posts, be warned!

I was removed from the blacklist, on the condition that I stop making "double posts." So, from now on, both the English text and Portuguese text will have to be on the same post (and people wanting to read in Portuguese will have to scroll down the page in search of the Portuguese text). I don't know about everyone else, but I've always thought the posts get cluttered and may get confusing with more than one language mixed in the same page (both when reading others posts and when writing), but if this is the proper way to do it, then it's what I'll do. This is the first post in this new format, and also serves as a test to see how it goes. I hope it's good enough this way!

Quem me acompanha aqui no Hive deve estar acostumado a ver meu conteúdo em posts separados para cada idioma (um só em Português - para quem não entende Inglês - e o outro só em Inglês - para quem não entende Português). É assim que tenho postado desde 2011 no meu blog pessoal (fora do Hive), que tem seções separadas para cada idioma. Porém, descobri que aqui no Hive, fazer posts separados para cada idioma é considerado spam.

Desde 2019 que não venho postando muito. Só um post de vez em quando e alguns comentários aqui e ali, geralmente para responder alguém que comentou nos meus posts. Em uma dessas vezes que apareci para comentar, percebi que um bot chamado Spaminator deu downvote de 0.25% no meu comentário. Logo depois que fiz outro comentário, lá veio ele de novo, com outro downvote. Eu não entendi o motivo. Meus comentários eram sempre genuínos e bem escritos, e não fazia sentido alguém pensar que eram spam e me colocar numa blacklist. Mas sempre que eu comentava alguma coisa, lá vinha o bot dar outro downvote. Eu não tinha conseguido descobrir quem estava por trás do bot e a quem perguntar sobre ele, então, por alguns meses, simplesmente ignorei os downvotes.

Só esta semana encontrei este post do @vempromundo que estava tendo um problema parecido, e este outro post com instruções para tentar resolver o problema no canal do Hivewatchers no Discord. Fui lá, e no fim das contas, o motivo dos downvotes não tinha nada a ver com os meus comentários, e sim com meus posts! Fui informada de que acabei entrando na blacklist deles por causa das versões em dois idiomas do mesmo post, e que isso é considerado como obtenção de recompensas do Hive de forma abusiva por meio de posts reciclados. Para outros que escrevem em mais de um idioma em posts separados, fica o alerta!

Fui removida da blacklist, com a condição de que eu pare de fazer "posts duplos". Então, a partir de agora, tanto o texto em Inglês quanto o em Português terão que ficar no mesmo post (e quem quiser ler em Português vai ter que rolar a página e procurar o texto em português). Não sei quanto a outras pessoas, mas sempre achei que o post fica bagunçado e pode ficar meio confuso com mais de um idioma misturados na mesma página (tanto ao ler posts de outros quanto ao escrever), mas se essa é a forma correta de fazer isso, então é o que vou fazer. Este é o primeiro post nesse novo formato, e também serve como um teste para ver como fica. Espero que esteja bom o suficiente assim!
