My 14 Days Quarantine gets over

avatar

After having traveled from Mumbai on 04th Aug, there was a 14 day quarantine that had to be followed. Before travelling there was a lot of confusion whether it would be a institutional or a home quarantine. I was very sure that if there would be a institutional quarantine then I would not travel, because I could not imagine myself stuck up in 4 walls of a Hotel room for 14 days. But then it was confirmed that we had to go under a Home quarantine, so I was happy to take the flight.

These 14 days honestly have just flown for me, I am feeling that I would not mind another 14 days also if it has to be because I have so much to catch up on at home itself. I have already started with my work from home, so a lot of time passes away in that too and then there is a lot of other house work to catch up on, plus my blogging that I need to keep up with, so days pass away. For physical activity I make it a point to do my Yoga everyday and we have a long corridor so evening time I make it a point to do a minimum of 4000 steps, later in the evening I sit at the balcony where I have a nice open garden view and read, all of this keeps me going actively.

Overall in these 14 days I did catch up on a lot of pending stuff at home. The major one was clearing up the old clutter. Digging up all the cabinets, shelves I removed all the stuff which was not required, my hubby also passed a comment that do I intend to empty the whole house, because I was on a thorough cleaning spree. I realized that so much was accumulated in the last 5 years which was not used or not required anymore. I am happy that I have managed to clear up everything. I guess once a year we all need to do this clearing exercise at home.

Yesterday our quarantine ended, so then me and my hubby went for a short drive, though I was not very desperate to get out, it was a good feeling being out in the open. These 14 days there was absolutely no track on our quarantine so if one does not follow also no one would get to know, but then I did not want to take any chance so we decided to follow and since I had my things to do, I thought I might as well use this time up, because may be in future I may again never get such time.

Though I am doing work from home, today I decided to make a visit to my office and catch up with people who are working in the office. As it is it has been 7 months away, so there is lots that need to be worked on.
Feeling all different as the routines are changing again. I hope I can keep up with all these changes.
Wishing everyone a wonderful day!

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

hahaha maybe we all need a 14 day quarantine every now and then to get the house back into motion ;)

Good to see that it is over for you though!

Yes, it is good at times, but then a self initiated quarantine it should be, so that you don't feel those chains around you :-)
Thank you dear

oh, in the spring I also dismantled the cabinets and dug up all the deposits, got rid of a lot of trash)))
But be that as it may, congratulations on the end of the quarantine. Freedom is better than quarantine! )))

Yes for sure, just the thought of it makes you feel liberated.
I am now going to keep doing this clearing exercise atleast once a year, hope that I can keep up to the schedule :-)

It's hard to get rid of them , I always keep on telling that to my wife, but rarely it happens 😁

You bet, I was like always in 2 minds to decide if to discard or not, though some of the stuff has again got back on the shelves :-)
