Quarantine Life: Day 74, Checkpoints in Every Town
Since the start of the lockdown period, checkpoints can be found in every territory. Though in our village back then, the entry points are closed except to the frontliners. However, in every town boundaries, there are checkpoints to comply with the guidelines. Even during this time when lockdowns are eased, checkpoints are still imposed, and if you are working in the city or a town, they will look for your company ID. In some places, they will look for the IATF IDs. However, there's a complain online that some of those watching the checkpoints are not implementing the rules, and letting people enter the territories. Well, if it's true then they need orientation from the local government.
Coronavirus cases
At this moment, the number of cases worldwide is already 5.68 million. There are 355k fatalities, while 2.34 million has recovered. There's slower rise in United States as the number of cases is 1.733 million. The number of fatalities is already 101k, while recoveries is at 370k.
A huge surge was seen again in the Philippines with total of 15,049. Fatalities is already 904, and recovered cases is 3,506. The same numbers here in Pangasinan, with new PUMs and a number of PUIs.
Remain cautious
We heard some people opposing the ideas and precautions about coronavirus, and too many conspiracy theories spread. They don't believe in the possible second wave. But there's nothing wrong if we will remain cautious. It is for the better. If you won't get coronavirus, you can possibly get other illnesses.
