| Here is my entry for @qurator's Pattern-themed photo contest. Once again I try to adapt my underwater photographic work to the theme of the competition. The patterns that I propose here are macro photographs of corals. You should know that the development of a coral colony is done thanks to the symbiosis of several factors, such as light, a zooxantella algae, oxygen ... The result gives a geometric formation that one can believe immobile. But believe me, if you come back to the same place at night when all the polyps are emerging from the limestone structure of the coral to feed on, you wouldn't recognize these patterns! |
Voici mon entrée pour le concours photo de @qurator sur le thème Pattern. Encore une fois j'essaie d'adapter mon travail photographique sous-marin au thème du concours. Les pattern que je propose ici sont des macrophotographies de coraux. Il faut savoir que le développement d'une colonie de corail se fait grâce à la symbiose de plusieurs facteurs, comme la lumière, une algue zooxantelle, l'oxygène... Le résultat donne une formation géométrique que l'on peut croire immobile. Mais croyez-moi, si vous revenez au même endroit de nuit à l'heure où tous les polypes ressortent de la structure calcaire du corail pour se nourrir, vous ne reconnaîtriez pas ces patterns ! |
