Anger in green

This week's Qurator's Photo Quest theme is emotions. People photography can probably capture them much easier, but I rather photograph animals instead! Plus, they don't get annoyed by having a camera pointed at them for a few moments... or at least, some of them don't! Because the expression I've captured on this photo means only one thing to me: Anger!!

Well, I guess rage could also work here. This green iguana was sunbathing in Tortuguero National Park, in Costa Rica, when our canoe got closer. And she wasn't glad at all; I don't think I ever saw an iguana face this mean! She didn't interrupted her sun bath thow, just stood there making mental threats while we passed her by.

I don't think this monkey was particular emotional... but he sure seeemed surprised when he was caught playing with someone else's glasses.

Now that I think of it, Anger was probably the emotion that the original owner of those glasses was feeling! 😆
Oh well... primates are curious, we can't blame him for trying to find out how the glasses worked.

At least he had something to be distracted with! In another tree, far far away... the only "emotion" in this racoon was plain boredom, lounging on top of the tree with nothing else to do besides tourist-watching.

He did got up eventually... I don't recall if he rushed to help the rest of the racoon gang, that was trying to raid every backpack they could find! And again... Anger was probably boiling on the tourists that got their belongings "borrowed" by the little devils! 😉
