Ice Ice Baby
Taking a break from the wildlife photos, for the first Hive participation in @qurator's Photo Friday Competition!
I was looking into some old photos, and found a few from a trip to Iceland. For anyone loving nature, it's a must-see country! I normally don't take these kind of photos, but I went in the Winter, so plenty of ice all around. And the textures... well, were just asking to be photographed!
And how cool they look in monochromes! These ones have a special taste for me, because it was my first time underneath a glacier!
Although here I focused a little bit on the smaller scale, all the different shapes, and the way it reflected light, made for an amazing landscape.
The only downside of my visit? Missing the northern lights. Always a good excuse to come back!
