Surf's up! Photoaction in the Southwest

Missed the last week, but back again! This week's theme for @qurator's Photo Quest is Action Photography!

At first, I thought I didn't had any photos to participate with, until I remembered my dear Southwestern Portugal! Huge beaches, most of them with pretty good waves... and surf!! Tons of it! Most of the beaches in that area are not that crowded, even in summer time. But in this particular one, crowd is normally the rule!

But not the usual towel-in-the-sand crowd; I'm talking about the surf crowd! Waves in this beach are pretty consistent, which atracts the locals, foreigners, and a great deal of surf schools. The result? This.

I normally don't like it when the water is that crowded, surfing gets a little more dangerous; you never know when a surfboard flies on your direction. But I can't blame them, surfing with this natural setting and with good conditions is a gift!

And if you don't like to surf, you can simply enjoy the view! 😉
