Learning How To Hear What We Don't Like | I'm Offended!

Please subscribe to his channel. I did and do not regret it at all because he makes total sense.
(he has not paid me to write about him )

There are dTube versions if you like.

Now for the reason, I decided to make a post about this.

Abuse

Imagine you are in a situation where everybody in the extended family has got a certain misjudged attitude about you and whatever you say or do is often used against you.

You have the habit of being straightforward and honest which often reflects in your speech and you do not know how to 'butter' people up.

What would you do when there is a backlash?

Suffer it and just keep quiet?

If so, you are encouraging your abuser and there will more of such performances.

If you are brave enough and stand by your opinions and put up a brave face too, then nobody is going to play the fool with you again. Whereas, if you cave in, then you will continue to lose.

That's how life is.

The pattern has not changed and probably never will.

So, it is better to be brave and face the backlash and opposition and anger or whatever for one time instead of being abused every single time. I hope you get what I am trying to get across.

Whatever I wrote is not a summary of the video but based on my own personal experience. I do not want to rekindle the memories and therefore do not want to write about it either.

Life is not a bed of roses for anyone and no one is singled out but what makes each of us different is the way we approach situations and how we can handle it.

Be brave.

Master your senses and passions. Please do not be impulsive. It is easy to retort and react. Refrain from it and be cool.

Enjoy each moment and trust in the supreme power(whatever you believe)
