This morning I woke up and saw some changes in the Rising Star User Interface, we can now see the progress on each bars :

EGO & ENERGY

Level information

Also, the energy requirements for lessons have been reduced :

only 40% now

And this was done after the dev added several lessons types to allow each instruments to have a use ingame :

see the FAQ to know which lesson to use for your instruments

This will ease the fight against EGO, for sure.
