Rocket Scientist's Amazing Two Can Stove!
I have known Dr Robert Zubrin for over 2 decades and he is one of the most amazing scientists alive today!
He is the founder of the Mars Society, which is the inspiration for Elon Musk's company SpaceX and its plans for humans to Mars mass transport -the BFR & StarShip.
In this video he shows the practical application of rocket science to create a simple stove using repurposed materials (2 soup cans) to create a cooking stove that is 3 times as efficient as a normal wood fire, produces far less smoke and is far safer.
It runs on pine needles or leaves with a high oil content or small wood pieces - the sort of material that is lying around camp site or wooded area.
Such a simple device is perfect for camping but can also be used in the third world where deaths from smoke inhalation from inefficient fires are very high.
