Symphony No. 5 "Toccata" by Widor

(Edited)

This is my entry for week 44 -- word, "Halloween". It has been a terrible night of wind and deluging rain, enough to leak into my basement.

I enjoy recording myself to hear how i sound. I always feel this piece drags, when i play it. Tonight, it did not. Hence, my entrance to the organ contest. Playing this piece clearly is very difficult as it requires endurance for 5-7 minutes depending on tempi preference. I prefer it slower, but it sounds awful on my phone. When played faster, it has that sparkle 🌟 according to my ear. However, the point is, the ability to play a piece to one's satisfaction is an achievement in itself. And, i am happy that i finally achieved that with this piece. For now. Six months later could be another story 🎶 but, this is why we practice 🎹🎶❤

Wow, great performance. Too bad the acoustics is so dry.
This composition is beyond me at the moment, but sho knows I might learned it someday. Your performance can certainly be an inspiration .

Remarkably stable playing considering the fact you turned those pages yourself with one hand... Bravo!
