June 12, 2020--Practice Blog in the time of the virus

A nice Friday. My wife and I kicked around the house this morning as she didn't have to go to work. We drove to the other side of town to practice organ and do some shopping. Afterwards, came home and practiced piano for a little while. Went for a 1/2 hour walk. There was an interview for a job position at my university that I sat in on. Then practiced for a little more on the piano waiting for the wife to get home. Made chicken, rice, and squash for dinner. Currently playing DnD with some friends online.

On the piano, I worked on Sibelius Op. 24 No. 9. Also practiced the a minor waltz of Chopin and the e minor prelude of Chopin.

On the organ, I worked on Plaint by Tim Knight for Sunday. Recorded a practice session of Scherzo for Flutes by Tim Knight as well. Ran through the first 5 movements of the Mass of the Convents of Couperin.
