June 15, 2020--Practice blog in the time of the virus.

Got an early start this morning with organ practice. I was sitting on the bench at 9:45 and practiced until 12. Came home and ate lunch and practiced piano for a couple hours. Had a Zoom meeting for a potential choir director at my school. Lots of potential. Practiced piano for a little longer and am now making dinner (it's in the oven while I type).

On the organ, I practiced the fifth and sixth movement of the Couperin Mass for the Convents. Also began learning and putting fingerings in for Kauffmann's Herr ich habe misgehandelt. Continued working on and entering the fingerings for BWV 635 and slow practiced the first movement of Hindemith's Second Sonata. Finished up the practice with working out the fingerings on the first movement of Guilmant's Op. 41 No. 2 Magnificat.

On the piano, continued working on loud passages in the middle of Sibelius' Romance in D-flat. Later ran through part of the Rondo Capricioso of Mendelssohn and a series of pieces I have been memorizing. Ended session with memory work on the A minor Waltz of Chopin Op. 34 No. 2.
