Septermber 19, 2020--Practice blog in the time of the virus

Another day down. Got up this morning and had breakfast with my wife. Prepared service music for church tomorrow morning and ran through the hymns and prelude and postlude. Afterwards, we went out to buy a pair of running shoes. I hope to get back into doing it regularly as I feel better afterwards. Then did some shopping with the wife. Came home and practiced piano for a bit before going and trying the new shoes out on a treadmill. They work wonderfully! No pain in my knees! Came home and collected dogs so that they could spend some time outdoors in a park. Made dinner and now going to watch British TV on Public television before an early night.

On the organ, I worked on CS Lang's prelude on Horsley, Dandrieu's Grand Jeu from Premier Livre de Pieces d'Orgue and the hymns for tomorrow.

on the piano, I worked on part of the third movement of Schumann's Piano Concerto, sight reading exercises in multiple moveable clefs, figured bass exercises, and accompaniments for choir.
