I could actually just leave this post at that - the title, because honestly... I feel completely brain dead and energetically depleted, lol! I can only imagine how our witnesses are feeling right about now! I kicked off my Friday morning at about 5.30 am I think it was... and started listening to the meeting between the witnesses and Roy. I could only get about half way through it, as I had to get Jude to school and then attend his athletics day event, so I finished it when I got home.

And all I can say is.....FNCK ME that was a lot of circles! It was like watching a ping pong match, except comprised of one serve and return stuck on a loop. I literally felt like this afterwards... (and I did it in two stints, lol!)

I understand that things needed to be discussed in depth, but FOR ME, they don't need to be discussed at length 15 times! Anyhooooooooooo it EVENTUALLY got "somewhere" in the last 5 minutes of the 2.5 hrs... which was actually champagne worthy! I could seriously have cracked a bottle of wine right there and then, but sadly it was not even midday here, so I decided to get mindless vicariously through @abitcoinskeptic who had already reached wine time. Which reminds me, that was a few hours ago... I should probably go check on him...

Right, he is still alive and kicking and even made some Handcrafted Ghost Pepper Liquor after I left him in the chat room... which is pretty impressive for a drunk guy lol! You can check it out HERE

Anyhooooo, wine time has officially arrived here for me now and all I can say is thank goodness, because I am not sure I would be able to make it through another day of blockchain related meetings in a sober state of mind, hahahaha!!! I apologise in advance for any *far too forthright comments in any potential town hall meetings later....

THANKS GIPHY

So on that note...

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

Time for wine!!!

Lol Yes whenever someone starts with "I feel" then don't say it. Just skip that lol! The amount of repetition was what killed me. I have to say that Roy guy has so much patience, I don't know if I could have handled being battered like that and still be diplomatic

Oh believe me, his paycheck is adequate compensation for such monumental levels of patience. Besides, it comes with the territory of manipulation - you can't lose your cool when you have an objective to achieve... the trait of a master.

@jaynie,

Honestly, I cannot believe what's transpiring. This whole affair is Amateur Hour to the nth degree and both sides are contributing their fair share to the shenanigans.

Jaynie, as usual, you possess excellent instincts. Intuitively, you've managed to put your finger on the pulse of what really matters ...

Booze.

The Founding Fathers of the U.S. Constitution created, arguably, the most masterful example of self-governance in history. And guess what? For a good portion of their deliberations, many were three sheets to the wind as evidenced by the receipts for alcohol consumption they submitted to Congress for reimbursement.

Darling, what if the STEEM blockchain were to sponsor you and I to get on a plane and go negotiate a settlement? We'd need, of course, an expense account with a specific line item for "hooch."

How say you?

But but.... I haven't been keeping up very well with this 2.2 soft fork stuff.

I read my face off one night so I do know what's going on... but what happened in the "somewhere" last five minutes?

You tease lol

Ha...I hear you @jaynie. About beer time for me. Kids are at grandmas and wife went out with the girls. I think I will sit out in the backyard in 72 degree weather and enjoy a cold one :)

There's so much things happening in the last one week; both on Steemit and globally in the healthcare section. Somehow, this hasn't been a good start at all. We can only pray that things improve better as the days & weeks go by.
