7 Years // My Original Music Video

avatar

This is a video that I shot at the old, abandoned King's Park Psychiatric Facility in Long Island, NY.
The word on the street is that the facility is haunted.

Source

I don't know about that, but I do know that it was disgusting and creepy which I found to be rather fun.
Now ... why I would find disgusting and creepy things fun is a whole other story.

Anyhoo....

We also shot some of the video in the surrounding wooded areas where I received multiple mosquito bites as well as poison oak!!! Yay!

The song is about hurting someone and feeling such regret and remorse that my soul felt like it was breaking, like a mirror shattering, bringing 7 years of bad luck.

This post is part of @nonameslefttouse's showcase-sunday initiative. Sometimes we work so hard to create content for Steem only to receive a minimal amount of views and whatnot. This initiative is for posting that content again on Sundays! I think it's a great idea. I know as an artist I can spend weeks, months, or even years on a particular piece of art so sharing it only once is kind of silly.
I posted this video 2 years ago here on Steem, but the story and all the pics I presented today are new.

That video is a masterpiece. Did everyone have to sneak into that place? Any time I get to explore these abandoned places, I'm usually not supposed to be there...
which makes it even more fun.

Thank you!!! Oh yeah, we had to sneak in there. Luckily there was a broken down door in the back so we could easily get in. I love abandoned places.

This is just an awesome production, and the song is killer!
I have this fantasy about being the bass player and backup singer for your touring band... :-)

Greetings @isaria,

Lovely work.......haunting, beautiful, moody......

So true....why should a work worthy of repeating be hidden away.....appreciate the way you have presented it differently yet given us a view to this beautiful work.
