Las Humanidades en Hive//The Humanities on Hive [ESP-ING]
Una de las tantas cosas que me gustan de Hive es la posibilidad de escribir sobre cualquier tema que genere nuestro interés y que las diversas comunidades canalizan esa acción. @humanitas es una nueva comunidad que abre un espacio para compartir reflexiones acerca de ese amplio mundo de las ciencias que abarca el conocimiento de las humanidades y se estrena con una interesante iniciativa para ponernos en contexto. @irvinc me invita a participar y hago extensiva la invitación a las amigas: @devania, y @care1869 para que se unan a la propuesta que consiste en responder cuatro amplias preguntas. Aquí mi participación.
¿Qué son las humanidades para ti?
Soy del área de las humanidades —¿Qué significa eso?— Cuando era adolescente y llegabas al tercer año de bachillerato tenías que decidir si te ibas por ciencias o humanidades para terminar este nivel educativo e ingresar a la universidad. Los que escogíamos humanidades veíamos asignaturas como: psicología, filosofía, sociología, latín y francés, entre otras. Así el área humanista comprendía el conocimiento relacionado con el hombre: pensamiento, comportamiento y la interrelación con sus congéneres.
Entonces, para mí, las humanidades son un conjunto de conocimientos que estudia al hombre y lo que lo hace humano ello incluye todo lo que tiene que ver con su raciocinio y la cultura en general.
¿Qué tan importante son las humanidades?
Hombre, sociedad y cultura son los conceptos que integran el conocimiento humanístico y nos incluye a todos. Unas buenas pregunta son: ¿Por qué hacemos lo que hacemos?, ¿Qué hace posible las diversas realidades existentes? Buscar explicaciones y encontrar respuestas hace que las humanidades sean importantes, no solo por el conocimiento en sí mismo que puede aportar sino como posibilidad para los cambios y transformaciones necesarias.
Pongamos un ejemplo: El cambio climático se ha estudiado desde el ámbito de las “ciencias duras” y sabemos de los procesos químicos-físicos que lo han producido, también desde el ámbito humanístico sabemos que el hombre es responsable de este hecho, sin embargo, la conducta humana persiste ¿qué hace que ello sea sí, qué necesitamos para transformar la conducta, es posible transformarla? Las respuestas a estas preguntas se encuentran en el campo de las humanidades.
¿Piensas que en esta era digital hay lugar para las humanidades?
Algo más humano qué esta era digital, creada por el hombre y para el hombre. Detrás de ella está el mundo de la tecnología expresión de la más alta creatividad humana puesta al servicio de la comunicación algo que nos distingue y que en muchos sentidos se considera propio de la especie.
La comunicación pertenece al mundo de las humanidades los canales y medios la facilitan, de pronto encontramos sus detractores que pueden ver en ella la “deshumanización” pero el problema no es la era digital y sus producciones, es el humano y el modo en que hace uso de ellas.
Si algo ha facilitado la expansión de las humanidades es precisamente la era digital que nos permite interactuar con personas que de otra manera no tendríamos oportunidad de hacerlo, obtener información de los conocimientos que se dan en el mundo o como hacemos nosotros acá en la blockchain creamos contenidos que abordan lo espiritual, la creación artística, lo social, lo individual, lo ambiental, lo científico natural, es decir toda la manifestación de la cultura y el saber que como humano somos capaces de producir.
¿Qué propuesta sugieres para promover las humanidades en Hive?
-Iniciativas como estas son un estímulo importante para la participación y proyección de la comunidad.
-Una propuesta factible es crear un banco de columnistas que con sus aportes ayuden a fortalecer la misión y visión de la comunidad al tiempo que abre la gama de temas que perfilen la orientación temática.
-Una estrategia de participación que utilizan algunas comunidades con buenos resultados es hacer un post con una pregunta generadora que pueda ser respondida a través de los comentarios, la finalidad es buscar la discusión de un tema en particular.
-Sacar semanalmente un tema de cualquier área de las humanidades que lleve a la reflexión y, a diferencia de las iniciativas, no lleve un cuadro de preguntas. Las frase, pensamientos, enunciados pueden ser los puntos de partida.

What are the humanities for you?
I'm from the humanities -what does that mean? When I was a teenager and you reached the third year of high school you had to decide whether to go for sciences or humanities to finish this educational level and enter university. Those of us who chose the humanities had to take subjects such as psychology, philosophy, sociology, Latin and French, among others. Thus, the humanities area included knowledge related to man: thought, behavior and the interrelationship with his fellow human beings.
So, for me, the humanities are a set of knowledge that studies man and what makes him human, which includes everything that has to do with his reasoning and culture in general.
How important are the humanities?
Man, society and culture are the concepts that integrate humanistic knowledge and include all of us. Good questions are: Why do we do what we do, what makes possible the diverse existing realities? Searching for explanations and finding answers makes the humanities important, not only for the knowledge in itself that it can provide, but also as a possibility for the necessary changes and transformations.
Let's take an example: Climate change has been studied from the field of "hard sciences" and we know about the chemical-physical processes that have produced it, also from the humanistic field we know that man is responsible for this fact, however, human behavior persists, what makes it so, what do we need to transform behavior, is it possible to transform it? The answers to these questions are found in the field of humanities.
Do you think there is a place for humanities in this digital age?
Something more human than this digital age, created by man and for man. Behind it is the world of technology, expression of the highest human creativity at the service of communication, something that distinguishes us and that in many ways is considered proper of the species.
Communication belongs to the world of humanities, the channels and media facilitate it, suddenly we find its detractors who can see in it the "dehumanization" but the problem is not the digital era and its productions, it is the human being and the way he makes use of them.
If anything has facilitated the expansion of the humanities is precisely the digital era that allows us to interact with people who otherwise would not have the opportunity to do so, to obtain information about the knowledge that is given in the world or as we do here in the blockchain we create content that addresses the spiritual, artistic creation, social, individual, environmental, natural science, i.e. all manifestation of culture and knowledge that as humans we are capable of producing.
What proposal do you suggest to promote the humanities in Hive?
-Initiatives like these are an important stimulus for the participation and projection of the community.
-A feasible proposal is to create a bank of columnists whose contributions help strengthen the mission and vision of the community while opening the range of topics that outline the thematic orientation.
-A participation strategy used by some communities with good results is to make a post with a generating question that can be answered through comments, the purpose is to seek discussion of a particular topic.
-Weekly, post a topic from any area of the humanities that leads to reflection and, unlike the initiatives, does not have a question box. Phrases, thoughts, statements can be the starting points.

Me hiciste recordar los tiempos en que las humanidades tenían gran aceptación en el bachillerato. Ahora no tengo la menor idea de cómo andará ese asunto, pero no me extrañaría que sean muy pocos los que todavía la tengan.
