La que se llamaban plantas electricas de las giles,Estado Nueva Esparta, fue construida para liberar carga de la planta principal Luisa Cáceres de arismendi, ya que es una planta muy vieja y no da basto para cubrir toda la carga electrica del estado. La planta eléctrica nueva puesta en funcionamiento por el gobierno nacional, aproximadamente hace 5 años , estuvo en funcionando al rededor de 2 años y hasta hoy en día, está en total abandono. Estas planta eléctrica era de gasoil y cada una tenía su tanque, como se pueden apreciar en las imágenes . Hoy en día muchos sectores de la isla padecen de razonamiento eléctrico debido a que la isla no cuenta con la carga eléctrica necesaria para brindarle un buen servicio a la comunidad.
The so-called electric plants of the giles, Nueva Esparta State, was built to release cargo from the main Luisa Cáceres de arismendi plant, since it is a very old plant and is not enough to cover the entire electric charge of the state. The new power plant put into operation by the national government, approximately 5 years ago, was in operation for about 2 years and until today, it is totally abandoned. These power plant was diesel and each had its tank, as can be seen in the images. Today many sectors of the island suffer from electrical reasoning because the island does not have the necessary electrical charge to provide a good service to the community.
La compra de estas plantas electricas fueron denunciadas por diputados de la asamblea nacional por sobre precio en sus compras y por ser de mala calidad. El gobierno central hiso caso omiso a esas denuncias, por ser responsables ellos mismo y allí se ven los resultados , un pueblo pasando trabajo y unos gobernantes viviendo la vida buena debido a la corrupcion .
The purchase of these power plants were denounced by deputies of the national assembly for over price in their purchases and for being of poor quality. The central government ignored these complaints, for being responsible themselves and there you see the results, a people going through work and some rulers living the good life due to corruption.

Greed and corruption are human problems, not any ism. They happen in communism, fascism, capitalism, socialism, and every other one you can think of. They happened long before we even had governments and economies. People are greedy and corrupt. We evolved that way as a survival mechanism, and can't just turn it off now that it's not suiting us anymore. It's evolutionary baggage.
