¡Buen día lectores de Hive!, hoy quiero escribir siguiendo una iniciativa creada por @ismaelgranados y que no supe de ella sino por @irenenavarroart acerca de "3 discos musicales que te marcaron y por qué."
Good day Hive readers!, today I want to write following an initiative created by @ismaelgranados about something I couldn't have known until I watched @irenenavarroart 's blog about "3 album music that marked you and why."
Hablar de música es uno de mis temas favoritos, pero conozco pocos con los que puedo hablarlo libremente mas allá de mi esposo, que se tomó la molestia de escuchar mis tonterías de bandas y grupos y géneros y chismes y cosas locas que leía por internet del mundillo.
Cuando vi esta iniciativa ¡no pude resistirme!, yo también quiero hablar de música así termine hablando con la pared...
Talking about music is one of my favorite topics, but I know very few people with whom I can talk freely about it, other than my husband who took the time to listen to my apparently no-end topics about groups and bands and genres and gossip and crazy stuff I read on the internet.
When I saw this initiative, I couldn't resist joining, I also want to talk about music! even if I end up talking to the wall...

Estaba indecisa a quien dejar en este top, porque Gaia y Finisterra aparecieron al mismo tiempo, pero Gaia me gusta más que Finisterra, pero finistera fue primero, en fin.
Mago de Oz está en una etapa gris de mi vida, en esa época era una adolescente relativamente feliz, solo me preocupaba de estudiar y jugar videojuegos; yo empecé a escuchar esta banda gracias a un ex, y si bien las cosas con él no terminaron muy bien, fue por Mago de oz que empecé a preocuparme por lo que decían las liricas y aprenderlas para cantarlas yo también.
I was undecided which to leave in this top because Gaia and Finisterra appeared in my life at the same time, but I like Gaia more than Finisterra, but I heard Finistera first... anyway.
Mago de Oz is in a gray stage of my life, at that time I was a relatively happy teenager, I only cared about studying and playing video games; I started listening to this music band thanks to an ex-boyfriend, and despite things with him did not end very well, it was because of Mago de oz that I started to care about what the lyrics say and learn them by heart to sing them myself.
Entendí que la música tiene su ciencia, es poesía y a veces cuentan una historia o transmiten un mensaje, es más que solo "música satánica" como lo describía mi hermano, también tiene pasión y mucho trabajo detrás.
I understood that music has its science, it is poetry and sometimes it tells a story or transmits a message, it is more than just "satanic music " as my brother described it, it also has passion and a lot of work behind it.
𝕶𝖆𝖒𝖊𝖑𝖔𝖙 - 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕭𝖑𝖆𝖈𝖐 𝕳𝖆𝖑𝖔
Ya estaba en la universidad y tuve que dejar Mago de Oz atrás, solo para que unos años después llegara ✨ Kamelot ✨, que fue la luz en forma de música que llegó a mi vida. Fue por Kamelot que descubrí el Metal sinfónico y fue ésta banda la que me ayudó a sentir algo en que identificarme y apegarme, algo propio.
Esta banda me gustó tanto que tuve la necesidad de comprar sus discos originales. El primero que compré fue el Ghost Opera, pero el Black Halo fue el primero que escuché completo en un blog llamado "Lord of Metal."
I was already in college and I had to leave Mago de Oz behind, only to find ✨ Kamelot ✨ a few years later, which was the light in the form of music that came into my life. It was to Kamelot that I discovered Symphonic Metal and it was this band that helped me to have something to feel identify with, something of my own.
I liked this band so much that I had the need to buy their original albums. The first one I bought was Ghost Opera, but Black Halo was the first one I listened to in its entirety on an internet blog called "Lord of Metal".
Para mí el metal sinfónico lo es todo, encontré la fusión ideal de los sonidos melodiosos con el ritmo fuerte característico del metal y fue como la revelación.
For me symphonic metal is everything, I found the ideal fusion of the melodious sounds with the strong rhythm characteristic of metal and it was like a revelation.
Fue por Kamelot y este álbum que me metí de lleno en el mundo del metal y me consumí en él por completo, escuchando más música relacionada: power metal, melodic death metal, ballads metal, devoraba discos, fue hermoso. ❣️
It was because of Kamelot and this album that I really got into the metal world and got completely consumed in it, listening to more related music: power metal, melodic death metal, ballads metal, I devoured records, it was beautiful. ❣️

Porque fue gracias a Dance Dance Revolution que expandí mi gusto musical de este lado del charco, al otro continente.
Por DDR me gusta la música disco, el EUROPOP, la música dance, trance, el pop japonés y todo eso combo, toda la música que en Venezuela literalmente no existe, pero yo amo con el poder de mil soles.
Because it was to Dance Dance Revolution that I expanded my musical taste from this side of the world to the other continent.
Thanks to DDR I like EUROPOP, dance music, trance, Japanese pop, and all that combo; all the music that in Venezuela literally does not exist, but I love with the power of a thousand suns.
Captain Jack, NAOKI, Smile.dk, Bambee son probablemente artistas desconocidos para la mayoría, pero para mi eran lo que me hacian pasarlo genial.

Antes de que mi hermano se volviera religioso fanático, él escuchaba rock, y él era el que tenía este disco.
Yo me quedaba en la habitación de al lado para escuchar su música. Bastante años después lo descargue por internet y lo empecé a escuchar yo por mi cuenta. Este es el que lo inicio todo en realidad, pero lamentablemente yo no tenía acceso a ese disco.
Before my brother became a religious fanatic, he listened to rock, and he was the one who had this record.
I stayed in the next room to listen to his music. Several years later, I downloaded it on the internet and started listening to it on my own. This is the one that started everything, but unfortunately, I didn't have access to that record at that time.
Esta fue mi selección de música. La verdad me gustó redactar este post, gracias si leiste aunque estoy 80% segura que nadie leyo nada.

Me gusto mucho tu selección y la forma en hablas de cada etapa, Mago de Oz lo solía escuchar mucho con un amigo, el se volvió una especie de hermanito pero lamentablemente nuestras vidas tomaron rumbos diferentes, ahora ni siquiera se donde está, si se casó con su novia o que, solo sé que se graduó hace ya bastante tiempo, por otro lado ese disco de Linkin Park fue el primer disco pirata (era la única forma que tenia de hacerlo) que compré cuando apenas tenía 11 años, así que me trae muchos recuerdos, Kamelot lo escuche muy poco, creo que por ahí en el 2006 no recuerdo bien porque tenían una canción con Epica y estos vinieron a Venezuela en 2008. Que gusto leerte y conocerte un poco más :)

Si, Epica (la banda) se llama asi por el álbum de Kamelot Epica del 2003; la canción que te refieres se llama Somewhere in time y esta en ese album el black halo.

Muy buena selección, el metal tiene muchas facetas , muchos subgeneros y puede disfrutarse en su estilo más melodioso o más extremo. eso es algo que me encanta. Y no te preocupes todos tenemos grupos que nos gustan que no conoce absoilutamente nadie en nuestro país, incluso en nuestro continente, jajaj, pero eso nos hace únicos. Me gustó tu post , gracias por compartir.

Siii. Bueno acá yo hago metal desde los 90s he hecho un par de posts al respecto aunque mi banda más extrema tal vez no te guste porque es pesada pero te la dejo por aquí si gustas oírla
