Hola, artistas de Hive! Hoy les traigo una ilustración que hice recientemente de mi querida gata, Lia. Espero les guste mucho, los dejo con el proceso.

Hello, Hive artists! Today I bring you an illustration I recently did of my beloved cat, Lia. I hope you like it very much, I leave you with the process.

PROCESO/ PROCESS

Empecé haciendo el boceto guiándome de una fotografía de mi gata, pues mi intención era hacer un dibujo semi realista en el cual se destacaran los rasgos físicos característicos de ella.

I started making the sketch guided by a photograph of my cat, since my intention was to make a semi-realistic drawing in which her characteristic physical features would stand out.

Luego de haber terminado el boceto a lápiz, procedí a aplicarle una capa suave de color naranja. Lastimosamente no se guardó la imagen, pero luego de aplicar esa primera capa, procedí a añadirle los colores distintivos de Lía, tanto en los ojos cómo en el pelaje.

After finishing the pencil sketch, I proceeded to apply a soft coat of orange color. Unfortunately the image was not saved, but after applying that first layer, I proceeded to add Lia's distinctive colors, both in the eyes and in the fur.

Agregué más capas de color y le hice los detalles al moñito.

I added more layers of color and did the details to the bow tie.

Por último, añadí detalles en el pelaje, bigotes, luces en algunas partes y el fondo simplemente lo hice porque sentí que la ilustración se veía muy apagada.

Lastly, I added details in the fur, whiskers, lights in some parts and the background I simply did because I felt the illustration looked too dull.
