Hoy comparto con ustedes un pequeño tributo en ocasión del fallecimiento del legendario Salsero de origen Dominicano Juan Pablo Pacheco Kiniping, mejor conocido como Jhonny Pacheco.
Este gran músico de la salsa quedó inmortalizado por ser uno de los creadores del movimiento que reunió a grandes cantantes, músicos y artistas de este popular género latino en una sola agrupación y el cual fue conocido con el nombre de Fania All Star en la década de los 70.
Today I share with you a small tribute on the occasion of the death of the legendary Salsero of Dominican origin Juan Pablo Pacheco Kiniping, better known as Jhonny Pacheco.
This great salsa musician was immortalized for being one of the creators of the movement that brought together great singers, musicians and artists of this popular Latin genre in a single group and which was known as Fania All Star in the 70s.
La Fania All Star es recordada como todo un fenómeno musical que impactó al mundo entero, con sus ritmos y la recopilación de grandes voces como las de Cheo Feliciano, Héctor Lavoe, Ismael Miranda, Rubén Blades, Ismael Rivera, Willi Colón y Celia Cruz, entre muchos otros. Con los nombres de sus integrantes tenemos una idea de lo que significó este movimiento cuyo director artístico y musical fue este gran maestro considerado como el padre de la salsa.

De mi parte como amante de la salsa, con mucho respeto rindo este pequeño tributo al maestro Jhonny Pacheco, quién vio partir a muchos de sus alumnos y que ahora se reúne con ellos para sonar hasta la eternidad.
