Why I Delegated My JAHM Tokens To @spinvent-leo

There was a post put up by @spinvest-leo that caught my attention. For those who are unaware, this is the account that curates Steemleo on behave of the @spinvest initiative.

In it contained this bit of information:

@jk6276 is running the account for SPInvest. As we can see, there was 10K JAHM "lent" to this account for curation in the JAHM community. This is being done in an effort to grow the value of the SPInvest platform by getting some JAHM tokens.

In the comments, this exchange took place.

My intention with this line of questioning was not to get a reward on the tokens delegated. I understand there are initiatives run that provide this return and agree it is a great way to get delegation. It is also a good way to get a return on one's stake.

However, this is where things differ a bit with SPInvest. As I wrote on a number of occasions, it all feeds into the same trough. Since I own a fair bit of SPI tokens, anything that enhances the overall value of the holdings enhances my position.

Thus, I decided to delegate my JAHM tokens to the @spinvest-leo account in an effort to help the curation rewards earned there. This is not, obviously, going to mean a direct payout to me but does benefit me in the growth of the total value of the SPI platform.

The other benefit to this is everyone else who is holding SPI tokens also benefits. This is where we all help each other. Even if someone is not active with SPI, the fact that their holdings can grow from this action is of benefit.

If anyone else has some JAHM tokens and curation of that platform is not something done, then maybe consider delegating what you are holding over to this account. The curation will assist the entire project as well as everyone involved.

@jk6276 seems convinced that JAHM will be a solid contributor to the value of SPInvest. I have no reason to doubt this based upon the information provided. Since I was not manually curating that platform myself, it is best to put my staked tokens to work.

This is the concept of what a cooperative offers. Any way that I can help out the entire platform, and all those who choose to be a part of it, then that is what it is all about. Over time, we can make this grow to even greater levels and benefit, hopefully, thousands of people.

I believe this is the power of collectively working together.

One final thought, stake that is put to work instead of idly sitting in an account also helps all of those who are posting content along with the other curators. In this instance, those in the JAHM tribe will have another 4,000 JAHM tokens that are casting upvotes.

Thus, the number of people benefiting keeps expanding.

Great idea supporting others, if you aren't curating, seeking a stake or actively posting in ReggaeSteem. @spinvest is interesting and very well run.

Very true @crypticat. Stake that is not put to work curating is wasted.

Here is a chance for my little stake to support Raggaesteems project and those who are involved while also supporting SPInvest.
