There is a loop hole to up your rep. Using bot that promote your article.
The bot upvote should not be counted on rep criteria. My 2 cents.

Your rep is a bit higher than mine, so my help is not much, but have provided it anyways. It does seem like a long time to move anywhere, I have been in the 64 range now for quite some time, but I am an inconsistent poster. I am still up in the air about the Reputation score, but it is there, and I do like watching the number increase. Bid bots and buying Reputation score is a bit more difficult for people so hopefully some meaning will return to the Rep score one of these days.
Perhaps by the payout of this post or your next you will have garnered enough votes to rise to the next level. Try using the tag oc (original content) in your next post, you might get a nice vote trail, that may be enough to get over the bump.

Yep just oc, I think it is ocd and or ocdb, not positive, but sometimes if your content is original they will send a vote trail. Mostly small votes but they add up. I don't use it to often since it is a curation effort tag but every three or four post I kind of remember it.
I am trying to get back into commenting more this year, (one of my goals is 20,000 comments by year end).
