Hi folks,

I wanted to make a list of some stuff that you may need to check before proceeding with the General Sale.

1. You need Vouchers for the Bonus Packs!

That's one thing most of people might forget about but that's a fact. Let's say if you plan to buy 100 packs and thinking of claiming the 10 bonus packs, you need to have 10 vouchers!

So, the very still market price of vouchers are rising again. It was down to 1.5 hive and right now it's at 2 hive.

2. How to buy Voucher with DEC or SPS

The process of buying vouchers with sps and dec is easy. First click on the Dec amount you see on the top right corner of Splinterlands. Than do this with the amount of DEC you want to exchange to Vouchers.

Right now 1000 DEC gets you 1.46 Vouchers. You may use https://tribaldex.com/ or https://beeswap.dcity.io/ or https://leodex.io/ to finish the swap. But Beeswap and Leodex has lower transaction fees than others. Feel free to suggest other sites on the comments. Also check the liquidity of the market, they may or may not have sufficient liquidity and market traffic!

Buying vouchers with sps is pretty the same process, you just use sps. Now, don't forget to transfer your vouchers back to Splinterlands!

3. You can only use Credits for the General Sale Pack purchases!

That's true, if you are keeping anything other than Credits, you can't buy packs on general sale. So you need to convert them to credits. let's say you buy a 100 packs, you need 400.000 credits! (One thing is important, you need an extra 45K Credits for the potions if you plan to open them all. I'll describe the process below)

you have Paypal and Crypto options. Let's dive into Crypto options. before we talk about crypto options, there is a huge thing to do if you didn't already do it. You need to connect the wallet you have (I'll demonstrate Metamask) to Splinterlands. You should click your username on the top right corner and choose Link external wallet here.

I use Binance Smart Chain for that. If you use other chains like ethereum etc. choose the right chain and paste your wallet adress here.

So, from metamask I added the smart chain.

So if it' all prepared let's click the buy credits with crypto and ( I have chosen BUSD, because the fees from Binance to Metamask was 0) choose your crypto to pay.

I was so lucky that when I enterd this section the BUSD fluctuated a little bit and I paid 396 BUSD for 400K Credits, yay!

Now click on the buy credits and Metamask will pop-up and for the first time it will transact a little gas fee in BNB. After that you will ask to confirm a second time which you really buying credits. Then you'll have your credits in you account in a short while. It's pretty fast actually, 30 secs at most!

I think you have prepared for the general sale now.

4. You will have some other preparations after you buy packs, like Potions.

This is important. Remember those potions from the dailies and EOS rewards. Now it's time to use them. You need 5 LP (legendary Chance Multiplier Potion) and 5 Alchemy Potion (Gold foil Chance Multiplier Potion) for each pack. I repeat, 5 of each potions, total 10 potions for each pack. That's if you want to double your chances of legendary and GF cards from the packs.

Legendary potions are 40 Credits each. Buy bulk (You need 500 LP, if you plan to open them all) and you'll get 50 free.

Alchemy potions are 50 Credits each. Buy bulk (You need 500 LP, if you plan to open them all) and you'll get 50 free.

Needless to say that you need that much credits for this. So go back to step 3 and buy as needed! So this will be the end of buying but you'll have lots of other things to decide later.

Some options are:

• Like if you want to keep the packs and sell them for a higher price(that might be months)
• You can open packs, sell cards and buy again. (The card prices will be lowered because of lots of cards entering the market.)
• You can just open them and use them, easy :)
• Buy cards from the market and keep the packs for SPS airdrop points.
