Monster Market pack opening

Hello Splinterlands fans!

Wanted to share a post about one of the lucky things that I learned about recently, the Monstermarket which is a service by @zaku and @reazuliqbal over on @monstermarket. You can find their site at monstermarket.io and sign in with your Hive/Steem info.

You can get 2% back on your purchase just for using their service. Sign me up if you can give me a deal! I've purchased all of my stuff right from the Splinterlands website before, not even knowing about the alternative market you can grab things at. The best part about it is that the packs you buy still count towards your overall pack purchasing which includes you in airdrops and ups your chances of getting them! If you buy things on Steem Engine, you aren't eligible for airdrops it seems like. I'm up to 138 packs eligible towards airdrop rewards, the vast majority of that is from using Monster Market!

I recently purchased 30 packs from them, using up some of my powerdown Steem (390 Steem). Since the price of Steem was down this week, I was able to grab 29 packs at 390 Steem and I enjoy nice round numbers so I grabbed a single pack for DEC to make it a nice 30. You still get 2% back if you use DEC so I got 40 DEC back. Not massive but it's better than spending the DEC on the site and getting 0 back! I will definitely be grabbing some packs each week that I can. I'm thinking with maybe the last 2 weeks I will get Hive instead of Splinterlands cards but that's still undecided. Opening packs is too fun!

This weeks rewards weren't that good but I still pulled some decent cards. The benefit of it all is that I'm leveling up my basic cards as well as adding in some stronger Epic's and Legendary's to my deck. I was looking for more summoners but I guess those will come with time.

It was nice to start it out early with a legendary, only 5 packs in and flipped this one. I didn't have this one yet so it's a welcome addition. My Dragon deck is coming together quite nicely!

The Wizard is the card I'm trying to stack as many as I can. I would love to get that one up to level 5, it's a really key summoner to have since I got my awesome Gold Foil Kron the Undying card recently.

Decent Epic and gold foil in the same deck. I really like the Mitica card, 4 ranged damage is badass in some battles!

This one was decent, 2 Epic's and a rare. I'm liking the Sporcerer card, I tend to fight a lot of people using the armor Life summoner so I happily take away that armor!

Another solid ranged card to add. Knocking down flying monsters is fun, make them take some real damage instead of evading.

This one was just kind of cool, 4 rare's in one open. I was hoping for 5 since I've never had 5 but this was welcome. The snipe death elemental was really helpful to get.

If you haven't yet, I would really recommend if you want to buy some packs to use Monster Market! They have an awesome service and send you the 2% back very quickly. I stack my saving and spend it the next week.
