Thank God I Made It - Champion I League Before The End Of This Splinterlands Season
If a video was recording when I won this last battle it would show me dancing and pumping up my hands because I finally hit the Champion I league just at the nick of time before the current season ends. I had been one long struggle I tell you guys, I kicked off starting the season like three days after it had started because card rentals were stopped temporally and since I didn't have the monsters to fight battles at a higher level, I kept dropping points as my rentals ended until I dropped down to the Diamond II league before deciding to hold on until a solution came up again.
I got the big break when Peakmonsters restarted their rental services and I was able to rent monsters again at top levels and had to fight back to regain all the points I had lost and also put in the extra efforts to get back to the top of the league. Honestly, I had thought ending at the Champion III level would still be a fair result based on how I started this season but something in me kept pushing me to go the extra mile and at the end of the day it paid off.
I got the Fire splinter today but like I did yesterday, I didn't concentrate of fighting with the fire splinter just to complete my daily quest, the strategy I adapted was to fight with whichever splinter and monsters that will best win the battles based on the monsters I had to do battle with and I must say it worked very well. The rule sets for each games keeps changing and focusing on just one splinter wasn't just cutting it for me as the daily quest splinter might sometimes not be the best to do battle with for some rule sets even though this strategy might mean that you may fight more battles but at least it gives you a better chance of success.
Rewards day 225
What can I say, compared with what I got yesterday, I can say that today's reward openings were better than that of yesterday. I got an Epic card, a Rare card, some Common cards, a bunch of Legendary and Alchemy potions and then some more tiny collection of DECs. I must say that I am really excited about what I'll be getting tomorrow for the end of season opening. Anyhow, I am really glad I made it this far. Stay safe guys.
